flashing codes after wire tuck ????

Default flashing codes after wire tuck ????

jusy finshed my wire tuck and know b16 crx is flashing codes 22/6 and 7 but it was runing fine no codes before i tucked the harness and i have all new sensors and swicthes so i know it is't that and my car over heat's to know ?? need help any info would be helpful

I had the same problem after I did a minor wire tuck. I just got a multimeter(A.K.A fluke meter) along with the ECU pinouts and checked the wires for continuity. If all that checks out good keep an eye on your connectors because they might be corroded or loose.

Just reset your ecu.
Disconnect your battery for a minute then put it back one, codes should be gone.

i did that and it still flashes codes ?????

uve got the vtec plug and the coolant temp sensor plug mixed up...theyve got the same type of connector. as far as the code 7 goes... tps... uve gotta figure that out. either thats unplugged, the tps is bad,theres a short to the plug, or the wiring is is messed up somewhere in the harness. or on ur jumper harness if thats what u have.

i dont have the plugs mixed up so it can't be that and it cant be ect sensor it's new and so is the vtec presure switch so it might a short in the wiring ???

not to be a jerk, but how do know you dont have the plugs mixed up? i dunno what else to say except to check for continuity in the wires.

the wire tuck must be what happened if you have codes now. i'm not familiar with those codes, but if you check your wiring for those circuits you will find the problem. it's probably a loose connection or a couple of switched wires
