Does anyone have any idea if the head liner could be moved up flush to the roof after taking out the moon roof on the new generation Accord and replacing it with a pop up sunroof? The sunroof will be larger so the headliner opening will also be enlarged. I really want the extra room so its not too important to look factory. I am also willing to get a LX headliner without the moon roof option if it would be possible to do a better job with that.

The only vehicle I have ever sat in with enough head room (I'm 6'7") is this generation Accord with the power seat and without the moon roof. I intend to get the '09 Accord Diesel this September which is rumored to be the EX model which has the moon roof as standard equipment.

Any help will be greatly appreciated by me and my aching back as we want to begin riding in style and comfort as soon as possible. Who knows maybe I can leave the aching back at home.

who knows... where there is a will, there is a way.


What I want, is a solid piece to replce and remove my moon roof... from the LX model... now that is a project that has real potential to happen
