I haven't actually started the swap but i want to know what all i am going to need to do the swap right. (mounts, wiring harness etc.)or any problems you may have encountered. I know i need the pedal assembly and clutch master cylinder & resovior from a civic, but i have heard that the tranny mounts/brackets are different on auto/manual.....Should i buy the HASPORT auto to manual conversion mount? I plan to buy a complete swap from either JHP or PASSWORD so i will have the mounts and wiring harness from that but don't know if they are compatible with DX non-vtec auto.... Any info would help! Thanks!

 

aside from the regular motor mounts ur also gonna need the rear engine bracket or "L bracket". i found that out the hard way

 

where would be the best place to get one?

 

passwodjdm.com and jhpusa.com, i've bought stuff from both of them in the past and no complaints, you also might want 2 check some of your local shops, compare prices, its always a good idea you might get a better deal

 

do u have an ek or eg? cause when i got my b18 GSR i had to buy the "L bracket" but i have an ek, i'm not sure if u need it for an eg, u might want to check

 

I recommend getting the auto>manual tranny mount from Innovative Mounts. Made of steel (although they do offer billet) and therefore cheaper than Hasport.

You will also need the hard line + flex line from the clutch MC to the clutch slave cyl, among other misc parts that I am too to think of.

 

i have an EG. can't really find that much info on the L bracket or location.

 

yeah.....i don't know that much about eg's let me do a little research n i'll get back to u.
