Default Help!! I got a set of 4 rear s2000 rims for my '06 civic DX, but they rub in the back.

I got a set of 4 rear s2000 rims for my '06 civic DX, but they rub in the back against the gas hose cover. I've tried some spacers, but the lug nuts end up being too short. Does anyone know what I can do?
Thanks a bunch for your help!

should have gotten 4 fronts, they are the correct +45 offset.

What is the offset on the s2000 rear wheels?

You're right, but I didn't know when I bought them. Do you think there's something I can do?
Thanks

Buy some extended studs and use the wheel spacers.

Is the extended studs a safe option? Any scary stories with extended studs, like tires falling off?

I found in another site that the size of the 2001 s2000 rims is: 16" x 7.5", +65 offset, 225 tire for the rear, which I have a set of four.

My 2006 civic DX has P195/65 R15 tires with 15x6 steel wheels, but I'm not sure what the offset is.

The spacers are 15 mm

Thanks again for your help

If you tell me how, I'll post a pic of the tires

+65? is that rigth? if so then of course they'll rub

run the spacers and extended studs. extended studs are a safe option. just install them correctly.

The tire on that rim is supposed to 245, not 225. The stock s02 tire that came on the S2000 actually measured out to be a 245 width. There were 3 versions of the S02 in the size of 225/50/16. One went on the s2000, one on the boxster, and one on any car. All 3 widths were different when measured.

245 is going to rub on your DX

Thank you everyone for your wise advise. I'll try replacing the studs and I'll post some pics. Thanks

how much did you buy the rims for? you can get a decent set of rotas or something for like 700 which is better imo with the right offset. since spacers hubcentric ones cost like 160 for 2
