Default Will 98 Prelude rims and 225/50/15 tires fit on my 07 non-Si?

I have a stock 2007 EX Coupe. I want to have auto-x rims/tires to be used only at events. I'm currently looking at getting tires sized 205/50/15 but wondering if I can fit 225/50/15's instead? I'm thinking I'll get better grip, but will they rub?
I'm also looking at buying a used set of 1998 Prelude rims to mount my tires on them for the track. Are they hub-centric? Will they work on my car just fine?

(I do realize the diameter, in both cases, is smaller than stock, which is just fine by me since it shortens my gearing and they won't be used on public roads anyway.)

Thanks in advance for yuor help!

Both tire sizes you mention are MUCH too small for your car. And I'm not sure if 15" wheels would even clear your brakes.

For your car, there are some good choices in both stock sizes (205/55-16 or 215/45-17) - in particular, the Dunlop Sport Z1 Star Spec if you want a supersticky but streetable tire with a 200 treadwear rating that won't put you into a modified class, and the Yokohama A048 if you want an R compound. Other R comps available in 205/55-16 include the BFG R1 and Mich Pilot Sport Cup.
