i was talking about, where it says "Uses Hrdware kit #13220", do i need this or can i just put the pads on replacing my old stock ones, with nothing extra to buy?

they probably just talking about the retainers. If your current ones are fine you can reuse but I usually replace them for peace of mind as they are quite cheap.

i haven't taken it apart and checked them, but yeah, i guess if they look bad, i will also order the new hardware since its pretty cheap anyway, thanks
I reused my same shims and whatnot with those pads.. I have the metal masters on the front and they work great.. no squeeking and good grab. grab seems to get better once they see a little heat.
the shims are just used for quieting. they aren't needed, and i dont use them. as for the retainers, mine have actually worn out, so the clunk. but they still work..
