Default who to use??

just trying to figure out what the best brands are for things like pistons, rods, and the valvetrain. the brands i hear alot about are crower, eagle, pauter, scat, manley, and skunk2 for valvetrain stuff. but wat do u guys think is the best brand for each component in a high boost engine? and i always see a mitch-match in parts. never really see a whole crower assembly or a whole eagle assembly.

thanks for any advice

mixing and matching isn't neccesarily bad, especially when you want the best of something... You see people mixing and matching because certain companies are known for having a specialty. Eagle = Rods, Crower = Cam's and valvetrain, pistons= wiseco or eagle. Some manufacturers recommend using their product for obvious reasons, but in the end it's up to you.
