Default B20B exhaust question???

i currently have a jdm b20b with ls tranny, I/H/E bored out throttle body, chipped ecu, and hollowed cat...what size exhaust should i run?????

i wouldnt run nemore than 2 1/2.. im runnin b20/vtec built wit tanabe 2 1/2 cat-back. only way i would run bigger is if u went with forced induction

I'd get 2.25".

You're not making any more power then a GSR so theres no point in getting anything bigger. Don't listen to anyone that says bigger exhaust = more airflow junk.

no backpressure = lost of power.

I'm running i/h/e no cat on my b20b tuned on crome pro with 2.25 inch piping to a twinloop knockoff muffler with zero problems.

no offense dude but have you ever lost power from putting a bigger exhaust or are you just repeating things you read? i think you need to read this before you keep passing bad info.

to the op. do not listen to this guy. you dont want back pressure, you want proper "scavenging". it is explained very well in this thread. this is a must read.
