I was on the freeway when my car just turned off... i pulled to the side and then tried to crank it up again and nothing... i can hear the fuel lines and when i try to start it sounds like its going to turn on but it dont...

 

any check engine light? check your icm

 

nope no check engine light or nothing.. i just changed the ignition coil and it still dont turn on

 

Check your ignitor..

i checked and it does have a spark...this thing is frustrating

My 92 Integra was doing pretty much the same thing. Just driving and it would just die. But when it was off for a while it would start up and run again for a while then seem to lose spark again. Well I replaced the igniter module. Now I get no spark at all ! Could a bad coil have damaged the igniter and now the IG coil needs to be replaced also?

 

i fixed it, it was the ignition control module.... it was weird cuz it still gave it out spark
