B16 swap failed emissions BAD! HELP!
Hey, I got a b16a2 swap in my 93 coupe and I cant get it to pass emissions. I had a P2T hooked up to it without any of the OBD2 sensors hooked up and it failed badly. Here's the results:
High Speed RPM = 2389
HC = 1477 Limit = 180
CO= 7.59 Limit= 1.20
Low Speed RPM = 775
HC= 6149! Limit= 180
CO=1.79 Limit= 1.20
So today I tried putting my stock P28 on it and as soon as the guy hooked up the exhaust reader, I could see it wasn't going to do much better(7000 HC). What do you guys think I should do to make it pass? I was thinking about getting a JDM P30 but I wonder if it being a JDM ecu, it will just do worse. So please let me know what you guys think. I need to get this thing passed asap! Any input welcome!

sounds like your running rich, and like v8 integra stated do you have cat,o2 sensors? also are all sensors hooked up and necessary connections made?
I have a cat, o2 sensor, and all sensors i'm pretty sure. But i think the crank timing might be like a smidge retarded. Could that cause me to run rich? And would the stock P28 have anything to do with being rich? Thanks for the replies, guys.

are you ecu's chipped. if so fine a stock USDM ECU. like the 94-95 GSR P72, or the ultra rare 92-93 integra GS-R P61, i have one but sorry can sell it. Or else, you might have to conver to OBD2 and use an 99-00 Si ECU
above all, are you running a JDM B16a2 engine, because if you are, it not going to pass smog period, the compression ratio on the JDM engines are higher than the US specs. at least thats what i believe correct me if im wrong anyone.
