96 Civic Hatch Won't start d16y7
last month was driving the car, it was low on gas... was heading to the next exit to get gas, coming on the off ramp car died... about 50 feet from the pump...
pushed the car to the station put gas, figured that it was just empty...
tried turning car over... nothing... temp gauge was hot also so i figured head gasket...
replaced head gasket, the cylinders were fine, no scaring etc... when cranking the motor does turn, but nothing... you dont even hear her trying to start...
i made sure all grounds are back... it is a stock motor... just a SRI, and i added a aftermarket header while doing the headgasket change since the stock cast iron had a huge crack in it...
i've heard main relays go out? wondering where that is exactly located in the civic, and the best way to test for spark...
i read some other threads, but none seem to sound like my problem...
also looked on youtube, found a video of a car not starting, and the motor sounds liek mine while cranking.

errrrr try again...the only thing that goes wrong with the actual "distributor" is the bearing although inside you have a coil and an igniter which are common failures
