Default Need help with transmission swap!

I have a 1993 4 dr civic. The guy that had it before me put a manual tranny in it and left auto shifter control right next to the stick. And that little thing needs to be in working order for my car to run because of the ECU.

I unplugged it to try to tuck this little guy and now the car won't crank. (I plugged it back in of course.) Any suggestions?

I'm planning on doing that in the near future, but I need a quick fix right now. Why wouldn't it crank after unplugging it and plugging it back in? None of the wires are messed up, it was just moved from point A to point B.

Got it figured out. I think the connectors just weren't plugged in all the way.
