Default what size of tire?(16X7 rim)

ok got some enkie rz-5 16X7 with a 42mm+ offset

they will only be used in the summer as I have winter steelies and tires.

So what size of tire will work the best on the crx? its on a 89 Si stock suspension

205/45r16? 205/40r16?? any ideas?

well with the stock suspension you're gonna want to look for a 31" BFG all terrain.

40s or 45s... whatever doesn't rub.

205/45 would be a good size. 40 series depending on your road conditions.

Definatly go with the 45r, the 40's are soo rough you feel every pebble on the road and the handling characteristics are basically the same even the look of the low pro.

won't 45R make it look more 4X4 and raise the car up a bit?

I don't know what they use to measure. but 40 to 45, would be only about 5 more millimeters if it's milllimeters, it's like this much here -> lllll
I think, correct me If I'm wrong

It's a ratio of the width of the tire.

Take the width of the tire (205mm for this example) and multiply that by 0.4 or 0.45 depending on which tire you choose. That will be your sidewall.
