Default 2000 Ek Hb A/C conversion ???????????

hey guys i have a 2000 cx hatchback and was wondering if i needed to pull out the dash to install the ac unit. I was told yes from one person and no from another so im not really sure. If i have to pull the dash then i think ima go without ac . I have so i really wanted the ac hahahaa.please help tired searching but no results

no you dont need to. u need to pull out the blower motor under the glove box cuz the one thats in there if it doesnt have ac needs to be switched.

if your car didnt have ac from the factory, you need to remove the glove box and the box behind it to install the evaporator. not to mention all the wiring, climate control, relays, blower motor and everything under the hood.


youre in sd for fuxsake. my ex lives there and theres no way youd EVER need a/c.

the thing is with us Socal people are spoiled and we want everything . I want A/C i cant stand the heat even though its socal hahaha I have a donor car that i will be pulling from 99 civic ex coupe
