Default Sea Foam in TB, now check engine light is on?!?

Put some up the vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator, it runs much smoother now, but the check engine light is on. Will this go away? Do I need to reset anything? Thanks for any help.

^^

post the code - could be something actually failed at same time - or reset the code/ecu and see if it comes right back

So how do I reset the code/ecu, just disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes right? I was planning on stopping at checker on my way home today if it's still on and have them read it. When I get the code I'll post it.

You can check the code yourself without a machine. Check the FAQ

Yeah I know I can, it's easier for me to have them take a minute and check it for me.

Well, when you reset the ECU it temporarily clears the CEL but if something is wrong it will trigger again; it usually take a set number of cycles before it will trigger. I hope it doesn't come back but just because you reset the ECU doesn't mean the problem is solved. Good luck.

It was probably just a miss fire code from the seafoam.
