I am pretty new to the lsvtec scene. But I am tryin to decide on a decent sized plug n' play injector for my car.

The person I bought the car from had an lsv but it broke so im rebuilding it.
It had stock injectors on it w/o an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. It has a gsr head with the b18b block. I am runnin ~12.1 compression pistons with eagle rods. I am going to be using the skunk2 pro1 cams. I have a 255lph fuel pump now. But I would like some advice to go by to start searching for some good sized fuel injectors. any help would be great!

i would run at the minimum some 310's. maybe get some bigger injectors just in case your setup changes down the road.

 

310-370cc injectors

Precision 310cc injectors are fairly inexpensive.
Rc 310-370cc injectors are a bit more expensive.

 

What are you making for power any idea? If so do the math:

<U>HP x BSFC (.5 for NA)</U> = lbs per hour
4 (# of injectors) x duty cycle %


Lbs per hour x 10.5 = CC per min

 

FORGOT: As fuel pressure rises it will effect the output of the injector as well. I usually use 45psi of static rail pressure for basic figures.

 

i am not sure as of yet. I know its over 200 hp. with my setup. I just dont want to get way to nutso with the injector.

 

a simple answer would be to visit RC's site and take a look at their calculators and make an educated decision off there...

they have b.f.s.c., hp/cyl. numbers, etc...its a really good starting point to educate yourself with the necessary calculations for fueling requirements
