Default Do you retain your A/C charge when replacing only Compressor Clutch?

my car was involved in a accident where the A/C compressor clutch took a ding.

Everything works fine, but the A/C belt is starting to shear due to the divot that was put into the compressor clutch caused by the accident.

It looks like the mounts to the compressor are fine.

That being said, i got a replacement compressor and belt for peanuts, and was wondering if i could replace the clutch without losing my A/C charge.

yea you can change the clutch with the a/c charge, I never done it like that before but it may be kind of hard with the lines attached.
