Ls motor, want to go lsvtec
if i have the LS motor in my car, will i be able to do the lsvtec with the motor/block still in the car? as in can the block be tapped with motor still in the car? and can i swap out the rod bolts with out taking everything apart.

i want to rev!!!! stg2 cams and thats about it. i wanna make power up to 8.5 but dont want the bottom end to die on me...

I don't think I would play around with the bottom end while it's in the car. Can you? Sure. Should you? You're playing with fire IMO.
ok, that sound a bit right. at wat rev point are stock LS rod bolts no good no more and tend to break? some advice please, im trying to this my DAILY DRIVER.

The rod bolts in a ls are the same as the d series, aka there not very strong and you can very well through a rod through your block if you don't use rod bolts, it's the one flaw in the ls block

its a much better idea to do it with the motor out, because measuring things and checking for tolerances will be near impossible with the motor in. Take your time and do it right.
