Internal or external coil distributor? OBD of the distributor?

Is there some info you're leaving out? Because the plugs should be exactly the same for the H22A distributor as they are for your '92-'95 Civic harness. Should be 2 plugs there, one smaller plug with 2 wires (a Blue wire & a Black/Yellow wire), and a bigger plug with 7-8 wires (8-wire plug with 1 space that may or may not be filled).

Here's info on doing the external coil to internal coil swap:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=348699

If you're not doing the swap (swapping the guts from distributor to distributor), then just open the new distributor up to make sure that the wires that are put together are in fact together (just to be sure), and disconnect the green wire from the distributor plug if it's not already.

Then it's not an "eg" engine harness, unless it was modified. All OBD1 Civics & Integras have 2 plugs for the distributor.

Does your new distributor have 1 plug or 2 plugs? If there are 2 plugs on the distributor, you're either going to have to wire it up yourself or buy one of these:

If you choose to wire it up yourself, here is a diagram. Match the wires with their position, don't try matching them by color too much:
