Precision Injectors fitment question......
Hey what's good guys. I just finished installing a set of 1000cc Precision injectors and noticed that they fit just fine into the fuel rail and into the IM but the head of the injectors just sit flush at the hole of the IM as opposed to the stock injectors which go thru said hole. Is this how they are supposed to fit? The motor is an LS/Vtec using a 93 GSR head with a Professional Products IM. Any help will be greatly appreciated guys thanks.
The injectors should slide into the intake manifold grommets just like the factory injectors do. They won't slide in as far however, and there will probably be a slight gap between the injector heads and the grommets.
If you remove the phenolic spacers that space the fuel rail away from the IM, you can tighten down the rail a bit more which will seat the injectors further. That's what I did out of paranoia, although it's not necessary.
Just cycle the key on and off a few times to prime the fuel pump and maintain rail pressure. If you don't have any fuel leaks, you're fine.

Thanks man much appreciated. I tightened em down and cycled over a few times and no leaks. I just wanted to make sure that the placement of the injector head further back compared to OEM injectors wouldnt mess anything up, especially regarding tuning and whatnot.
