is the CEL on? why are you tapping the gas so many times, so fast? i don't know anyone that does that...you are probably tricking the ecu into thinking there is a problem, with the tps, o2 sensor or whatever. rev it normally and what does it do?

my b18c1 ef had similar problems. it was really intermitten but everynow and then while i would accelerate moderately, it studdered bad. it seemed like fuel cut or a rev limit, but it was never at a consistant rpm. sometimes it ran fine, other times it studdered and ran like crap.

even sometimes the CEL would light up dimly and brightened up proportionally with the throttle angle, all accompanied by the studdering. i used good wiring conversion kits. basically a p28 on a p72 basemap. its originally a p06 so no KS or IABs, which i run a skunk2 intake manifold.

i'd really like to know too. anybody?

i've tried that. i even swapped throttle bodies with one i had laying around. still the same thing. besides, wouldn't driving your car without a tps create other symptoms that aren't even related to the real problem? i swapped ecu's, dizzy's, cleaned and tightened all the grounds. even made more grounds. it still does the same ****.

i'm stumped. also, another symptom. when i turn the ignition to "ON" the fuel pump does not prime. when i unplug the IACV, then pump primes instantly. i swapped IACVs off my brother's teg, which i know works, and i still have the same symptom. i dunno what the hell's going on. what else can i check. everything else is fine. i mean the ignition is in time, compression is good, timing is good. what else do i check?

You may have to go through your wiring all over again. That seems like alot of weird crud going on.

Be good to master the engine swap, and electrical wiring.

yo. i know wut the problem is. the driver is a monkey and the retard tryin to fix it is Trex and his foot is [freak]in up the throttle. thats all. just have a normal person drive it. or stop stalling and then blaming it on the car. lol!!

nah jk, these are my homies...but for real...the problem was inside the distributor ...the screw that holds on the rotor was completely backed out!!! now the car starts and stays on all the time!!!

who woulda thought!
anyways...its rippin now! good **** e1
