when im driving my car (88 LX 4 door) the car will start idling all crazy. it will rev all the way to 4k and sometimes it will start surging... any ideas

 

check for vaccum leaks and make sure your throttle cable isnt too tight, holding the Throttle body open and look here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2153910

 

make sure the coolant is full, sounds stupid but iacv won't work right if theres air in it. then get rid of the DPFI, they all start surging eventually and getting them to ever idle right again is harder than doing an mpfi conversion
