Default qaurter panel replacement.

i just recently bought a 91 ef si hatch today for $150.00 with a running orignal motor/tranny. it has a damage on the right lower rocker panel in the rear. it also seem like it pushed the wheel well out of place as well. i already have a donor car to repair this si. i was wondering how hard would it be to cut and replace that small area. it's from the rear wheel and little after the door jamb area. i will try to get a picture up asap.

You ever done any body work? or welding? If you have never done either I wouldn't begin learning on your car. I would get a spot weld cutter (kinda like a drill bit that cuts holes) and a cut off wheel or saws-all from any hardware store or tool truck. Drill out the spot welds and cut out the area you need to repair on your SI and take it to a body shop and have them repair it using the piece you cut off the donor shell.

how sure are you that the 1/4 panel on the donor car isnt already rusted out and repaired with bondo?

If the donor car is in better shape, but has front end damage or something, id almost rather work that chassis, especially if its rust free.

if the rear wheel seems off there could be sub-frame damage which as far as im concerned isnt worth fixing.
