First off, this car is bone stock.
My car runs awesome when driving around or when at a red light for a short period of time. However, when I let it set and idle for about one minute, the temperature will start to rise. In order for it to stop climbing, i'll throttle the engine once or twice and the temperature will begin to go back to its happy place. It only happens when idling for extended periods of time.
I replaced the thermostat just for the hell of it without any results. I don't know why I replaced the thermostat. I guess my excuse could be that it's for maintenance LOL. Yes, i've checked the water level. LOL
Let me know.
