Some of you might remember my vent thread, here. I ended up buying another radio, a lot cheaper I might add. It took a long time to receive it because the seller doesn't ship to Hawaii (via UPS ground). I had it sent to my aunt, but she shipped it first class (took another 2 weeks). Anyways, I got it and installed it.
It fits perfectly in the double din hole, and lights up amber. This unit is from an 05-06 CRV (XM model radio) and has the aux port to connect the Honda Musiclink. If you can find an older Musiclink, you can hook up an ipod.

Oh, and I put on new Honda Access visors today too.

Is that where it's from? I just took it from a car at the dealership I used to work at. It wasn't being used (found it in the glovebox).

I bought an 86-98 Honda radio harness and 99+ Honda reverse harness. Was going to make a jumper harness, but found out the previous owner cut off the stock radio plug. So I just spliced the 99+ Honda reverse harness to the radio harness.

For some reason, people are charging more for the ITR Gathers radio now than before. I was thinking about getting it, but I like the 6-disc changer more. Plus I don't want to buy an FM expander.

It doesn't bolt up to the stock bracket, but the fit is snug and once you install the lighter/ashtray garnish, it stays in there.

Looks fantastic; it fits perfectly One question though: is it supremely underpowered? I replaced a Pioneer MP3 deck with the Honda OEM deck in my EM1 and it was very weak (found myself often cranking it near max, especially on the highway) and sounded like *****.

Even when hitting that 3rd gear vtak!?
I remember I launched really hard one time where the cd shot out of the drive along w/ the whole radio unit.
True story, no bs.
