I have a 00 Honda civic with a b18-c. last week I went to start my car and it was completly dead. So I tried jump starting but it would not do anything, nothing had power, but occasionally I would get power back to my dash lights and dome light, when that happened as soon as I tried cranking the car over again all the lights would go off and not come back on for a while. I even tried push starting it with no luck. I have tried a new battery, checked all fuses and plugged in a new ignition switch hoping that would be the problem. I am thinking it must be a loose connection some place, or a fried wire? I am waiting to get my multi-meter back from a friend, but I thought I would see if any one has any good places I should check, any suggestions will be a big help and much appreciated! Thanks

 

check ur ground wires..clean them up and make sure they nice n tight!

 

yea, I did check them all, they seam tight, they looked clean but I will clean them up though, good idea, thanks. any other thoughts?

 

I dont know if this related, but in the past my car would get very doggy/sputter when it was raining, I figured water was getting in the distro some how, but now this has happened I wonder if it is related?
