Default dim headlights, no electrical power

tonight i get in my car to drive home and i start it. Doesnt want to start but finally cranks over. i flick on the headlights. They are super dim dashlights are also. When i do this i hear my fuel pump stop making the normal whine. Im not too sure what might be going on. All i did today was try to take off the front bumper. I pull the headlights out alittle but didnt disconect anything. I also took out my washer fluid bottle. Any info on others with a similar problem would be cool. thanks

check the wiring, sounds like 2 wires ( a ground and a positive) on something are touching on the horn bumper lights etc (anything under the front bumper)

Other then that check your grounds (rear tail light, thermo housing and tranny) and the fuse relays.

problem solved. Wires from the washer fluid pumps were touching causing a short.
