Default Need help/advice

I'm 17 and thinking about buying a integra, cause I'm really into them.

I see theres 5 types, the RS,LS,GS,GSR,TYPE-R and the VTEC engines.

I also see that for the LS you can put a VTEC engine inside it, and turbo it.

Iv been hearing theres a big difference between Turbo and VTEC, I'm not quite sure about them.

My questions:

1. How can you tell the difference between a GSR and a TYPE-R?

2. Do the Type-R cars have the logo showing on the exterior of the car making it a legit Type-R? or it doesn't have to show?

3.Whats the difference between VTEC and TURBO? Are they both the same? Or are they different?

4.How do you know what's good mileage on a Integra?

5.What is the standard HP for the RS,LS,GS,GSR,TYPE-R?

---------------
Misc Questions:

1. Is driving stick(manual) hard?

2.Is a integra good for a first car?

3.Do I have to do alot of checkups If I were to get a VTEC based car engine?

4.How can you tell the difference between a good integra and a bad integra?

Thank you for reading this and I hope I can better understand the 'INTEGRA'

Run the VIN on CARFAX. Many ITRs have been stolen and rebuilt. Good luck finding a pristine one.

Check the VIN. There are many fake ITRs. The ITR chassis is quite different than a non-ITR for the rear subframe, wheel wells, etc.

VTEC is a dual profile cam system designed for normally aspirated engines. Turbo is aftermarket on all Hondas but the RDX. You need to do some reading. Try http://www.wikipedia.org

17 years old, high theft rate, inexpensive, and relatively quick = $$$$ for insurance. You also live in the Socialist State of California. Being 17 and driving a Honda is going to harness much police attention.
