I need some help with installing Recaro seat for my Civic. I was just wondering if the stock bracket for the seat is going to fit the bucket seat. Anyone knows? Let me know thanks

91 Civic and the replica Recaro seat.

 

The bracket can be modified to fit the seat. The only way this can be a bolt on is if the manufacturer of the seat supplied a bracket for your car.

 

Is there any other way to put the seat on? Like do i have to get a seat base or do i just need the right bracket and seat slider? Let me know thanks

 

buy a bracket for your seat, type in ebay civic seat bracket , if you can fabricate fab up your own out of some slabs of metal! but it will save you the headache if you just buy brackets

 

A pic of the seat would help. Im assuming these are the black with red stitch ebay seats. ARe they side or bottom mount? if they are bottom mount you can weld some brackets and use some spacers to mount them on the stock rails, thats what I did with my momo seat. the holes were much more narrow than my stock bolt holes in the rail so I welded some 3/16 steel plates in the right spots

 

This is the seat. I also have the slider with it. Do you have any pics of your momo seat you did so i can try and do it myself also. If i do buy a bracket, the bracket should fit all Civics right?
