Default Main Relay Needs Replacing Again?

I searched and read a lot about the main relay, but I still have some unanswered questions. I noticed last year, my car would have trouble starting when it was warm. I read and found out that the main relay could be the problem. I replaced it with a brand new OEM main relay from Honda. A year later, I've been noticing that when the weather was starting to change (become warmer), my Integra would have trouble starting. As in, it would crank a few times and then finally start/run. Just this past week, the weather has been getting hot (75+ degrees) and my Integra would sit for a while (few hours), start up and then die after a few seconds. After that it would just crank and not start/run. I would have to have the windows down for a while and then it would start up. I noticed that the fuel pump wasn't priming. Now, my question is, would I need to replace my main relay again, after a year?

Thanks for any help and replies!

my went out on my 92 and a friend of my told me to fix it, all u have to do is take off the cover and apply some new solder on top of the old one, I did it and the car started everytime, you should try to fix it.

Or you can clean out the plug remove all that residue left behind from the electrical current.

I still have my old relay. I just took the old one apart to check the soldering connections. It seems like the previous owner attempted to fix the old relay with the soldering trick. I resoldered the two the previous owner attempted to fix. I guess, I'd replace the new one with the resoldered old one and see if that works. But I just found it odd that the new one went out after a year. lol, its litereally exactly a year since I had trouble last time. All I did to fix it was replace the relay and it was fine.

Well, I resoldered the old relay and installed it. She started right up. So I pulled apart the new one (the one that wasn't working) and checked the solder joints. There were like 2-3 that had the hairline cracks. How can a brand new OEM Honda main relay go out after one years use?

Another forum said that it was my ignition coil, could they be right?

I dont think the coil is the problem, when the coil goes out thats it, but if you want to be safe just put one in it, but again I dont think thats the problem.
