Pics from recent Buttonwillow trackday
I haven't really posted in this forum. I just picked up my S2000 a few months ago after selling my '97 ITR. I finally got a few key parts on the car paid $20 for this pretty cool photo from last weekend at buttonwillow.

did u beat ur old time frm your itr?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Thanks! Yes and no. When I first got the 97 I ran a 2:12 with stock interior, gearing, motor, etc. I changed the tranny and a few other things before I tracked it again but wasn't able to get timing at that event. So I know they helped a lot.
This last event I ran a 2:10 but there is still lots of room for improvement and I have a lot of learning to do still. I'd like to beat my personal best, which was done in my civic 4 years ago, of 2:05.1.

It was pretty basic. Stock 98 ITR spec engine with bolt-ons and stock ecu. Tein RE coilovers with the standard 14k/10k rates, 5 lug brakes, pads and Toyo RA1s on Work RSZ-R.
I had the car for a long time and over the years was able to set the car up the way I wanted it.

Yeah, I miss that car. I kind of regret parting it out.

wait wait wait wait....WTF do you think you are doing? Taking a s2k to the track is a huge no-no....Especially one without JDM boutique tuning parts.
At least I hope there was a Nopi or Import car show nearby.

My bad, this is a true tuned s2k. Nice!
Altho an ARC or Spoon sound tube and fashion bars would help.

What is shocking is that this guy includes "trackday" in his post title.....only 17 replies. Had it been "New ARC sound tube and fashion bar install and colored lug nuts" there would have been 3 pages of "looks sick" or "nice maing, clean" or "true tuner".
its sad.

I see what you're saying. Maybe I should have put "rolling shots" on the title.
I wasn't looking for top responses but rather just introduce myself to the S2000 forum.
Thank you everyone else as well for the nice replies.
