I was searching craigslist because im thinking of buying an s2k.. and I saw this one.. It has some mods as you'll see but it seems well done. Is this too good of a deal? Ran to ****? possibly in a wreck and not reported? I was thinking of buying

it has a reconstructed title...so there was frame damage...be careful with this one

reconstructed dosent allways mean fram damge it could have been a theft or a flood. w/e the case is make sure u find everyhting out about y its reconstructed as the guy for reciepts of the parts he bought to get it back t spec and ****.

I would only feel comfortable buying a reconstructed car if:

A. before and after pics
B. I was not worried about resale value

 

it has a 5 speed too.... that will drop the price. f-ing people sigh.

ap2 to ap1 light conversion........i guess if thats all you can find at the junkyard. looks like it has had front end damage as well as rear end

 

It could be a good deal... The only way to find out would be to give it a full and proper inspection (by you or a professional) and to run a carfax. Obviously this guy did not modify the car.

 

lol... yea he's trying to fool someone.. I didnt notice the headlight thing.. good spotting.. And if i'd read that it has a reconstructed title i wouldnt even had asked you guys.. my bad
