I Have a type r b18 and it is smokin really bad now and just seems to get worse... any ideas on what it could be? I Already changed the oil, cleaned my filter and the spark plugs.... it does not seem to have a bad head gasket... or any oil leaks... well other than the natorious honda oil leak by the vtec sylinoid, but that is a drop like every 4 hours of constant driving... so barely any. thanks in advance...

 

probably your piston rings, what color is the smoke

 

a gray color? not black not white tho

 

if the smoke is gray you probly have a crack in the block where coolant and oil are mixing and then burning. there are coolant passage ways throughout the entire block so if one cracks it will mix with oil then when it is burned it turns a gray color.

 

i checked the block... no cracks.. i dont really rod on it and it only has 60k on it... any other ideas? its kinda a gray white color.. im thinkin seals...

 

VALVE SEALS!!!! makes the car smoke like a hoe cause it burning oil! they are like 28 bucks new from the dealer.

 

try the valve seals, but if that doesn't work probably the rings/head gasket
