Thinking of buying these myself, that's the cheapest I've found yet.

price seems pretty reasonable. well this may sound stupid to the vet honda guys but my b18b1 uses head "bolts" and what ive researched so far for those head bolt replacements are the arp head studs with the washers and nuts. if i get these how would i go about installing them? do i have to twist the head studs into the block, place the head over the studs and then torque the nuts and washers to factory specs?

I didn't know you had a non-vtec, make sure you get a kit for your car

And yes, the studs will thread into the block with an allen wrench then you put the head on, then the washer and tighten the nuts to spec. There should be instructions with the arp stud kit, if not the arp website should have them or you can contact them.

Cometic headgaskets and ARP headstuds are both good. I am using that combination. A good place to get them is from is Tuner Toys. http://tunertoys.zoovy.com/

looks like a good web site so far but what bore size and thickness should i go for. will it depend on my driving style?-->daily driver but likes to go really fast....haha. gaskets listed are on this page http://tunertoys.zoovy.com/cat...__a_b/
and thanks for your input.

Is the block stock? If it is, I would just get an OEM size headgasket (I believe they are 81mm bore and 0.029in thick). I did not see a 0.029in headgasket on the website. I am not sure if Cometic makes them. If I were you, I would probably get the 0.027in thick and 81mm bore headgasket. If you want to slightly raise or lower the compression, you can use a thicker or thinner headgasket, but it is not needed.

Cometic goes by .030" I believe when it's torqued it is squashed down to .026" or so.
