Default Weird Problem 97 civic jdm b16a

So im driving today and my speedo seems to go out along with the odometer. Later im driving and my lights dim and my cd player cuts on and off when i have my turn signal on. i jumped out to figure out was wrong and tried to restart it and it wouldnt start. so i gave it a second and finally it started allowing me to drive home, with my lights off because when they were on it would damn near die. i didnt have enough time to check it out tonight since i have to work in the AM but anyone got any ideas of what could be wrong?

could be an alternator issue, or you might have a short somewhere, get that alternator checked at your local auto parts store

the lights being on affecting the car running would make me think it's an alternator problem or even something as simple as a loose battery cable. get it checked out and if it's not either of those it's probably that cluster problem mentioned earlier

well went to start my car this morning and it started up. turned it off. tried to start it and it was dead. used a batter charger to start it and that worked. took it off. tried again and no start. would this be a battery problem? it just seems like the power gets drained so fast unless the motor is running
