Remove passenger seat and no srs light?

Remove passenger seat and no srs light?
Is there a way to remove the passenger seat on a ep3 honda civic si and not have the srs light come on??? I read the thing about using 2.2ohm resistors and tried it across the two blue wires in the yellow harness.. didnt work....
There is also the other harness but i didnt mess with it.. i tried searching....
Anyone one ? thanks
