air conditioning removal
i was wanting to remove my ac as i plan on getting a wire tuck in the near future but i was wondering if there is a write up here or if somebody could point me in the right direction as how to do it.
lol yeah thats what people say but i think engine bays look cleaner w/o it and i never use it. i always just roll down the windows. but it just looks better imo

I dont see what the problem is. Its attached by hoses, belts and a handful of bolts.
If you really need help removing something this obvious, you shouldnt be doing it.
Start by removing the belt (cut it if you dont care) then unbolt the compressor lines (this is illegal unless you have a vac system for the gases) then remove the 4 bolts holding the compressor to the bracket.
It couldnt be more obvious, if you spent more than 2 seconds looking at it.

actually there was more than just a few bolts considering the lines run all the way across the front of the bay and along the side to the cab
but thanks for the start

for bitchin at pdiggity, hes just tryna help u bro but it is like super duper obvious... 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm, about 20 minutes and you can have the whole system out an be good... Although u say u dont care about it and whatnot i'd still hang on to it if i was u tho, i was all gun-ho for removing A/C when i boosted my **** but now that i got my new hatch with brand new a/c system i'll NEVERRRRRRRR ride without a/c again haha... The reason you'll find theres no DIY for this is because its almost as basic as removing the battery... A couple lil nuts/bolts here, couple there, blam ur done... Just trace all the lines to where they connect but start with removing the upper connects first than remove the a/c compressor bracket bolts and u can remove the compressor and hoses an the same time, than remove the remaining hoses that go through the firewall and that's it... I hope you're not planning on removing the whole heater core and underdash box and all cuz that's a bitch and really isnt necessary for just wiretuck purposes but that's all you... Anyways, hope that helped if u need anything along the way just snap a quick picture and you'll get help within a minute im sure...
yeah i didnt really look at it in detail at first and it was quite simple so i'll admit the stupidity but i dont appreciated the way he answered me and how i've seen him say it in other places. i mean if you think it's that stupid, dont say anything. you dont have to talk down on somebody and try and make people feel stupid. that's all im sayin
