I have a 1996 spec JDM ITR. I am looking to find a rear lip for it. Im not sure what is out there either after market or oem. I was told that the 96 has a thinner rear bumber then the other years, but I wasnt sure. If any one have some pics of lips and what brand they are that would be great. Also where can i buy one.

Thinner? No. But the 94-97 bumpers are different from the 98-01 bumpers. And there was never a rear lip. As far as an aftermarket lip, I'd go with an aztec lip

 

Thanks for the suggestion Ill have to check em out. I ment that the newer bumper was wider then the older bumper.

I found a picture of the azect lip and I like it but where can I buy one

Alright well Im not an ITR owner, but Im sure you ment the ITR rear valance? Its 2 piece on either side of the rear bumper, it doesnt cover nearly the whole thing though, its like a rear lip moreso then an aftermarket bumper though.

If you have the 96 bumper then the 98-01 is different then yours. I like the one you have more then the new one...

Thats the newer one. It has the beam that goes across unlike yours.

^^thats the rear valance for the type r. its an OEM honda part.
