I have a 92 cx hatch and the problem is when I drive normally down the road it will just die randomly, I would crank it again but it won't start. I wait a little bit longer and crank it again won't start and I would just sit for another half hour and finally it would crank. Later on in the day I go back to my car and it wouldn't crank again and after a few tries it final;ly turned on what could be the problem? if it helps my car can't handle going to high of rev or it will die please help I wanna atleast have this thing running until my swap!!

 

im just guessing here but i think it might be the alternator gone bad.......im no mechanic so i wouldnt be surprised if i was way off......

 

I will take alook at my alt, anyoe got any ideas?

 

if your alternator is good than check your fuel pressure. i was having the same problem. i had to wait till my engine cooled down and then it would start. Come to find out that my regulator was not functioning cause an allen key screw was screwed into the air passage on my fuel rail and was blocking the air pressure. If you have good pressure than I would check your ignitor. That could also be the culprit. Good Luck
