Joey has finally cracked the 10's with his Consummate Tuned Turbo S2000 in full street trim, making it the fastest Daily Driven S2000!

The car went on a 300mile cruise the day after the 10's were cracked.

I wouldn't be so quick to call that the world's fastest daily driven S2K infact, There a red S2K out of PR that says different.

IIRC they have only gone 10.8's with it... We went 10.67 this weekend.

My friend from P.R. just got more power last night and when he ran the 10.80 pass that was on true street tires. They are going back out tomorow with more power and better tires so we will see what happens.

What was your 60ft time ?

I have the timeslip so we can compare the 2 if you want.

Yeah your buddies is making some good power it seems!

We run true street tires as well. 275/40/17 MT et radials. It's gear based boost as well so it hooks in 2nd.

What tires will they be running? They should crack 9's with that trap!

I believe it was only a 1.65 60'

Show me a daily driven S2000 that is quicker running a radial tire.

 

simply stating facts, your car is not doubt fast im not discrediting you at all.

we have an s2k localy runing a 10.54 @ 139 on a 30R, def street driven as well...

Bias Plys i'm assuming. That's a different story. We're still on radials. But very quick none the less!

 

theres always a debate when it comes to "street" legal and "street" driven. Theres alot of fast so called street cars that never or barely ever see a open road....there claiming to be a tru street driven car on tru everyday driven in the rain tires

Ain't that the damn truth. My brother puts atleast 70miles per day on his. I suppose we better turn up the boost now and run some 9's on radials!

 

What tranny are these fastcars running?stock or PPG dogbox?

 

Does that thing have a full cage?
Im suprised the track would let you run that fast.

To the guy with the gt30r, id love to see a 10 second time with that little turbo.

Seems these cars need near 600 hp to run in the 10s.
