painting intercooler have affect on over heating?
no it doesn't, usually its air in the cooling system or not enough air flow to the radiator due to the intercooler being in the way

it definately doesnt get any air flow to the radiator. the bumper and intercooler take up all the room.
i have the same problem as the OP but as soon as i take my bumper off the heating issue goes away on the highway. city driving is fine. highway driving temps reach 220+
