Does anyone know which wire is the signal wire on an electric VSS I was unable to find a solid answer in the search function. Some say its the center wire. A picture would be helpful I dont want to send 12v to the wrong pin and fry the vss.

should be "Ground - Power - Signal"

 

First off which VSS speed sensor are you using. If it is from a 1992-1995 civic you can use the diagram below. Which shows the connector also, so you know which wires go where.
