Default cost of replaceing airbags

Well on April 29 at 11:45pm my car was totaled by a dum *** driver i thought i was going to get a whole new car but the insurance company dicked me over. I didn't get any money because there wasn't a witness that seen the accident and the police report couldn't tell who was at fault either. Last night i was smoking a blunt looking at my car and its not that bad. I just need to replace the bumper, hoood, and maybe the bumper support and radiator support. The only thing that is major is both of the airbags are ouut. I was going to run a aftermarket steering wheel. How much does it usually cost to reset the srs system and replace the passenger side airbag. I should be able to get eveything from the junkyard to. Has anybody done this before?

Be careful, man. A LOT of stories about DEATHS from aftermarket/blackmarket airbag modules that don't deploy at impact. I realize you are trying to save some money here, but get airbag units that have been checked out/"certified" as good. If you don't know what you are doing, get a GOOD tech to install them. Screw up and you may be toast.

I'm really serious here- many articles in the past year about deaths from gutted or non-functioning airbags. No airbag deployment + 60 MPH crash= DOD. Be careful-
