My setup
b18c1 block: stressed releaved gsr rods;arp rod bolts
p73 itr pistons
acl bearings
itr water pump and oil pump
rebalanced crank
bored and honed to 81.5mm
97 GSR head with 01 itr cams
Skunk2 intake manifold
itr tb.....
im wondering why sometimes my car will run like shyt and cut off on me....and at times it feels weak as hell....im running on a p28 chipped ecu with a gsr based map on it...i have no CEL and my timing is dead on...compression at 210 205 210 220.....any ideas why? fuel management?

You're running pretty much an ITR with a GSR basemap. Get a ITR basemap or a real tune, problem solved.

Somebody ripped you off if they told you they sold you an ITR specific water and oil pump. ITR/GSR pumps are the same

What he's saying is if he told you "the block also comes with TYPE R water and oil pump" as a way to pursuade you that you were getting hooked up, the GSR and ITR pumps are the same.
