Default Flooded Honda

Well it was more water then I suspected. The water on the passenger side because the car was on an angle went to the middle of the door on an angle all the say to the center hump by the shifter. So essentially everything from the middle hump down out to the passenger side from the rear of the car to the front of the car has been submerged from the middle of the passenger door level as that is where there is another water line.

I'm fighting with the insurance company as any electronics contained at that level including engine components, and exhaust system were submerged in water. The additonal issue is that on the interior what was not submerged was exposed to water as from the water trying to evaporate the following day the entire interior of the car was saturated. I'm talking dripping water down the dash, windows etc. The insurance compnay wants to ignore that all of this is wet and tell me they refuse to change it or warranty it if there is a problem in the future. I will be going to dispute resolution with the state insurance regulator soon but they have said they need proof.

Does anyone know where I may find documentation that says that the Honda Electrinics and wiring harness etc. is not water proof and is not reccommended for reuse after being submerged?

Yeah, it's somewhere with the accord fording kit.
Now try to say what you wanted to say with punctuations.

How about say what caused the flood? If it's your fault - ie driving the thing into a lake, I don't see them covering it.

If it's legit then I honestly would think it's borderline totalled to replace ALL that wiring.
