It means you need to grab some lithium grease and spray the bushing along the firewall, if you want the squeak to go away.

I used to have this problem. Remedy as follows:

Locate the rubber boot seen in photo. (in front, on bottom right - between engine/trans and radiator) Pull it aside and lube everything behind it with white lithium grease. Replace the rubber boot. No more squeek.

I had a squeak/creak while pressing and releasing the clutch pedal. From inside the car, it sounded like it was coming from the firewall. I had someone press/release the clutch pedal while I was listening from under the car and I found/fixed it as described above.

There's two solutions for two similar problems here. I had clutch squeak as well, and lithium grease on the bushing leading to the master cylinder was all that I needed.

there was this other thread i read about this similar few months back you could say, where this guy was told he had to take his tranny apart to grease it to get rid of the sqeak.

and there's also these two tsbs.

Squeak at the Clutch Pedal 1-11-2005 (02-002)

Squeak at the Clutch Pedal 3-16-2004 (02-002)

are they just different solutions as well?

dont lube everything behind the boot , if you simply spray grease or lube in , it will get on your clutch. the only place that needs greasing is where the slave cylinders actuater arm rests in the clutch fork. its a ball. grease that hollow for the ball. it will stop.

any pics by any chance? i'ma take a look i should be fine but pics would be awesome.

Now i got another question from your post. It Wasn't Me says spray behind the boot, is that boot connected to the same area that toyo and u are referencing to?

The clutch fork assembly that blackKready mentioned is just behind the rubber boot. It's nearly impossible to not see it. That's what I spayed the lithium grease on.

possible for anyone to show me a picture of where to spray from the inside of the car?

I haven't checked from the engine area yet.

I sprayed a part that looked goldish a bit. when you depress the clutch that part gets pushed in. That's what I lubed up a tiny bit. it got rid of the squeaks for a little but I guess I need to apply more or something.

thats the clutch master cylinder arm. they can squeak too. the picture above that was posted. pop that rubber boot out of the tranny. pull it towards the front of the car youl see a little plunger sitting in a hollow in the clutch fork. pull the little arm back towards the slave to make a gap in between the ball end of the arm and the fork. put grease in the hollow.
