Default Hx gurus needed!!!

Okay so heres the situation. I have 00 hx, I thought okay why not through some headers and a high flow cat on....and well....the check engine light has been on ever sense.

I was first getting a code for the primary O2 sensor so O'well these are cheap right?...wrong! 300 dollars later I got the sensor, replaced it and everything was well for a week then back comes the check engine light but this time for the secondary O2 sensor.

My first question is, is this because I got a high flow cat (magnaflow) that im getting the cel?

And second, does anybody have a hx with headers and high flow that has had no cell?

and please no bashing, I know the hx is slow and its useless to mod...

I got a 96' hx with a header and a dynomax cat on it....and what you will have to do to avoid the check engine is either 1) Weld in a bung after the cat and extend the wiring so that the secondary O2 will reach the bung (which is what i did and it worked perfect)....or do the anti fouler trick...which I'm to lazy to explain...just do some research on it and you'll find it....and trust me dude, the header and cat will do NOTHING.....complete waste of money...I only did it because it was a cheap alternative to using oem parts..goodluck

if i were you i'd put the stock manifold back on cause at the end of it you spent like 300 bucks on a header and a new cat..

i have a hx and had a hx motor in mine before i swapped it and put on a header/ex cat and it threw codes also..i didnt go out and buy the sensor like you though..i got it checked out and they said im alright just driving without buying a new sensor..i ran that way for about 2 years untill i went turbo and then just turned the sensors off
