Ouch Gixx was that your previous bike? What happened to make the frame split like that? I thought that Zuki had fixed the frame issues on the K6 and K7's?

Yeah, it's my old bike. I had thought the same as well...Apparently not though. It snapped clean on both sides along the welds. The only thing salvageable was my life and I thank God everyday for that.
Well good to hear that nothing major happened to you man. There will always be other bikes in your life
How was the crash if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks.. I appreciate your concerns.
How was the crash? LIFE-CHANGING-EXPERIENCE and a lesson learned. I broke my left ring finger as well as a bone in my hand. Minor dime sized bruises, etc..Suit, boots, gloves, and helmet did their job extremely well and I was lucky enough to not get rash. Teknic =

I think that's a nice way of saying he fell over.

For every 1 that this happens to there are 5 thousand that it doesn't.
**** happens...shouldn't have wrecked if he didn't want the bike to get messed up. Duh.

No.. It's not as common anyway.... Any frame will snap or get punctured of the force is hard enough. Honda just makes better bikes...That's the moral of the story coming from an Gix owner. I only got the GSXR because I felt most comfortable on it over the other 600s..
And I ride in vans, shorts, t-shirt, helmet, and icon vest/"back protector".....

Hamfist + cold tires usually will do the trick. Or too much rear brake around a tight turn. Or he wasn't going 15mph.... the list can continue
