Default Turbo 96 civic DX

I was wondering how much hp i could probrably get if i turboed my 96 civic DX D16Y7 engine no i dont want to be flamed or to hear its a waste of money i was just hoping someone could give me a rough estimate and prob around what would be a safe set for psi boost. please let me know thanks

turboing an SOHC is not a waste of money. I have a friend who has a turboed D16Y8 (ex sohc vtec), and also a friend with a turboed D15Y5 (vtec-e), both run about 6-7 PSI on stock internals and run mid 14's.

I'm not sure on what WHP they have, but I'd assume it'd be about 180-190ish at the wheels running mid 14's.
