I have a 93 lude with an h23 motor, but the previous owner slapped a v-tec h22 head on it. The cars coil is junk and im looking to order a new one. my question is, which coil do i need to buy, the one for the h22 or the one for the h23? thanks

Internal or external coil? What dizzy does it have? How do you know its bad?

 

the coil is probably not even bad. what exactly is the problem?

 

external coil, and it has a stock dizzy. i found it was bad when i pulled the coil wire and seen that the spark being emmitted was severely weak. the car is extremely hard to start so im guessing that is why.
